James Knight, Founder and Chief Executive Officer
James founded Keystone in 2002 when he set out to create a new type of law firm. Prior to that James had a 10-year career as a commercial solicitor in London, Hong Kong and Dubai. James now focuses on business development, marketing, and other drivers of growth.
Ashley Miller, Finance Director
A PwC-trained and qualified accountant, Ashley has spent his career establishing and managing international finance departments for SME businesses operating across the professional services sector, including leading law firms. He joined the firm in 2015 and is on the main Board of Directors.
William Robins, Compliance & Operations Director
A corporate lawyer who qualified with Hogan Lovells, William joined Keystone in 2008 from Berwin Leighton Paisner. Responsible for the firm’s systems, processes and compliance, he and his team are on hand to ensure that our lawyers are armed to meet business and regulatory requirements and their clients’ needs.
Kristina Oliver, Marketing and Business Development Director
Kristina joined Keystone in 2013 and has almost two decades of experience in marketing, the majority of which has been in the upper echelons of the legal profession.
Fiona Severs, Community and Engagement Director
Fiona qualified and practised at Herbert Smith as a corporate lawyer before moving into business development, CSR and coaching. She joined Keystone in 2018 and her team plays the vital role of connecting our lawyers with each other.
Maurice Tunney, IT Director
With 20 years’ experience, 16 of which have been spent at established law firms, Maurice joined Keystone in 2015. He is passionate about maintaining an environment which is both user-friendly and scalable with growth. And he regularly collaborates with the lawyers to ensure the systems allow them to work as effectively as possible.
Mark Machray, Development & Growth Director
Mark trained and qualified as a corporate lawyer at a boutique law firm in the West End. After 10 years of developing his practice, he left behind the conventional law firm structure and moved to Keystone in 2010. Using his 2 years’ experience of working as a Keystone Consultant, Mark joined the management team in 2012 tasked with recruiting the brightest and the best to follow his path to Keystone.
Sarah Brown, Head of Partner Recruitment
After an early career as a corporate finance lawyer with a magic circle firm, Sarah moved into legal publishing, before realising that hiring and developing great people is where her passion lies. She joined Keystone in January 2020 and has over 12 years’ experience recruiting for international law firms.
Emma Millar, Office & Administration Manager
Emma Millar heads up our Administration and Reception teams. She joined Keystone in 2019 with over a decade of experience as a legal secretary and paralegal.
