Training Contract – Employment Law

Salary: £39k rising to £44.5k (OTE)

Location: Central London

Keystone Law is one of the most respected law firms in the UK and its fast rise is reshaping the UK legal market. It is a multi-award-winning Top 100 law firm that is continuing to make waves. In 2017 it listed on the London Market and it continues to go from strength to strength with investors and clients alike. The firm is ranked by Chambers & Partners and The Legal 500 and in November 2020, the firm was named Law Firm of the Year at the prestigious The Lawyer Awards, the ultimate accolade in the legal industry. In January 2021, Keystone was also crowned Firm of the Year by RollOnFriday after achieving a 94% employee satisfaction score in the publication’s annual survey. As the UK’s happiest law firm, its lawyers are some of the most satisfied in the industry.

Keystone’s lawyers are drawn from the partnerships of the top 50 firms and some high-quality boutique firms, who bring their client base with them. Clients include Nationwide, Neal’s Yard, RBS, Cancer Research, Virgin Atlantic, and Siemens.

Keystone seeks a paralegal with two years direct relevant experience in employment law to work with its prestigious employment team. The work will focus on assisting Partners with larger and more complex employment matters, especially contentious cases and involve high levels of direct client contact. This role sits in a team of other paralegals and trainees and some home working by prior agreement is permitted, subject to the needs of the client.

You will have excellent academics, be tenacious and a self-starter and been working in employment law or HR for at least two years, preferably with some of that in London. This role will be a gateway to qualifying as an employment lawyer. This would suit an applicant with a strong pass at LPC, but SQE could be considered for the right applicant.

If you have the requisite grades and experience, and would enjoy working for an expanding and forward-thinking law firm, then please attach your CV with a covering letter explaining your employment law experience below:
