Training Contract

Role: Paralegal (12 months) then Training Contract (24 months) – litigation focus
Hours: 9 to 5.30, 5 days a week (additional hours as required)
Salary: £32,000 (guaranteed annual increases)
Location: Chancery Lane, London

Keystone’s litigation and other teams have need of paralegal assistance across a range of matters working with high-profile City-trained partner-level lawyers on challenging work.

All Keystone paralegals are eligible to join the Keystone Academy after three months. The Academy is a two-year rolling training course building on core legal skills and includes mentoring advice from a senior lawyer. All Keystone paralegals are offered training contracts after 12 months’ service.

On account of the levels of investment in this role, candidates will need to be of the highest quality and have a dynamic entrepreneurial personality.

The role would suit an applicant with a strong academic background with at least 12 months’ (and preferably more) experience in litigation at a top-ranked law firm.

The successful applicant will primarily work closely with our litigation and other teams on both litigious and non-litigious matters. He/she will be given high levels of responsibility and client contact and usually be working directly with a partner. He/she will sit alongside other paralegals, trainees and junior lawyers in supporting the firm’s other lawyers with a very a wide range of other types of work. The team is tight-knit and a friendly personality is essential.
