Position: Professional Discipline & Healthcare Regulatory - Senior Associate

Salary: Competitive & Bonus

Location: Flexible - Manchester, London, Remote Working

Keystone Law is a firm that was founded upon a desire to do things differently.  The original concept was to build a law firm in which lawyers could focus on working with clients, free from management obligations and administrative distractions, whilst being helped by teams of people who are there to support them.  The concept endures to this day.

Keystone Law is a multiple award-winning Top 50 UK law firm that continues to make waves in the legal sector.  Our lawyers are ranked in Chambers & Partners and Legal 500, and in November 2020 we were named Law Firm of the Year at the prestigious The Lawyer Awards, the ultimate accolade in the legal profession.  In January 2021, Keystone was also crowned Happiest Law Firm of the Year by RollOnFriday.  Keystone lawyers are known to be some of the most satisfied and driven individuals in the legal profession.

Our Professional Discipline & Healthcare Regulatory offering has grown significantly over the past year and we are now recruiting for a Senior Associate with a strong background in this specialist area of law.  This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly successful and well-regarded team doing fascinating and important work.

The team acts for a wide range of clients including insurers, Royal Colleges, medical and dental defence organisations and private healthcare providers.

The Senior Associate will enjoy a variety of work, to include fitness to practise (defending professionals before their regulators -GMC, HCPC, GPhC, TRA, RCVS etc), MHPS proceedings, Inquests and medico-legal advisory work.

We would prefer candidates to have experience of acting for insurers or defence organisations, but we are more interested in finding the right person with demonstrable technical excellence, enthusiasm and commitment to outstanding client service.  This role presents a significant opportunity for development and progression and would be ideally suited to a self-starter looking for their next challenge.

If you feel you have the skills and experience for which we are looking, and you would enjoy working for an expanding and forward-thinking law firm, then please get in touch today.

Please email your CV and a covering note to, marking your email “Application for PD&HR Senior Associate Role”.  We will review your details and contact you with further information if we would like to take this forward.
