Salary: Competitive
Location: Keystone's Chancery Lane offices + possibility of some remote working

Keystone Law is one of the most respected law firms in the UK and its fast rise is reshaping the UK legal market. It is a multi-award-winning Top 100 law firm that is continuing to make waves. In 2017, it listed on the London Alternative Investment Market, and it continues to go from strength to strength with investors and clients alike. The firm is ranked by Chambers & Partners and The Legal 500 and, in November 2020, we were named Law Firm of the Year at the prestigious The Lawyer Awards, the ultimate accolade in the legal industry. In January 2021, Keystone was also crowned Happiest Firm of the Year by RollOnFriday after achieving a 94% employee satisfaction score in the publication’s annual survey. As the UK’s happiest law firm, our lawyers are some of the most satisfied in the industry.
Our lawyers are drawn from the partnerships of the top 50 firms and some high-quality boutique firms, who bring their client base with them.
Property Litigation
Keystone has an excellent reputation for property litigation with many partner-level lawyers ranked in the legal directories. An opportunity now exists for an enthusiastic paralegal to work in this area assisting a partner with a long-established track record of dealing with property litigation.
The partner acts for many important and well-known clients, dealing with a varied and interesting mix of commercial and residential property litigation matters.
The work envisaged should enable the candidate to develop a good understanding of property litigation law with a “hands-on” involvement dealing with matters including lease renewals, dilapidation claims, neighbour disputes (such as party wall matters and nuisance/trespass), as well as arbitration, development/planning and a broad spectrum of other similar work.
Skills to develop will include understanding and explaining legal issues, preparing for court hearings and arbitrations, the service of notices as well as client care, good communication and other pervasive aspects. The Property Litigation Group often works with Keystone’s Real Estate lawyers as well as managing agents and surveyors.
The Candidate
The successful candidate is likely to be a highly motivated law graduate, willing to work hard to better understand this interesting area and the commercial considerations that often arise, and to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
It is likely that the candidate will be based at Keystone’s Chancery Lane offices, with the ability to work from home part-time to be agreed.
This is a great opportunity for a candidate looking to join what is probably the UK’s happiest law firm.
If you graduated with a 1st or a 2:1, you have an interest in property law and dispute resolution, and would enjoy working for an expanding and forward-thinking law firm, then please get in touch today.
