Marketing Executive

Role: Marketing Executive
Hours: 9 to 5.30, 5 days a week (additional hours as required)
Location: Chancery Lane, London

One of the UK’s most talked about law firms is looking for a marketing executive to join the award-winning team. This vibrant and dynamic team would suit someone who has experience in a professional services environment and would like a role where they have more responsibility and autonomy to drive forward projects which have a real impact on the business for which you would be recognised.

The ability to think creatively and outside of the usual legal confines when necessary is essential for working at this firm. The small but powerful team work on a range of projects to raise the profile of the firm but also supporting over 350 lawyers.

Duties:

  • Managing a range of internal and external events from start to finish
  • Coordinating the legal directory submission process for Chambers UK, Legal 500 and others as and when required
  • Working with the team to come up with new ideas and campaigns to reach clients and potential lawyers
  • Working alongside the Business Development Manager and director to create pitches, proposals and bespoke marketing documents
  • Contribute to developing in-house PR strategies and campaigns
  • Create press releases and distribute (with training)
  • Assisting with general PR related tasks
  • Proof reading marketing materials such as brochures and articles
  • Assisting with website and social media updates
  • Other ad hoc duties as and when required

Ideal applicants will be able to demonstrate:

  • High level of written English, especially spelling and grammar
  • Confident with computers and very good knowledge of Microsoft word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Excellent organisational skills – must be able to multi-task and manage a range of activities in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ability to be a team player as well as work autonomously where required
  • Can do attitude and high attention to detail
  • Ability to think outside of the box and has a creative streak
  • Experience of InDesign would be advantageous but not essential
