Marketing & Business Development Executive

One of the UK’s most talked about law firms is looking for a marketing executive to join the award-winning team.  This vibrant and dynamic team would suit someone who has experience working at Chambers or Legal 500 or who has previous experience of coordinating submissions within a law firm. 

Keystone currently submits over submissions for over 60 practice areas and is looking for someone to help take the firm to the next level in terms of rankings and profile raising.  Keystone believes heavily in the importance of the legal guides and has invested in a custom-built portal to manage and help coordinate information from the 400+ lawyers who wish to participate every year making the process smoother for all involved.

This role in addition to managing the directory submissions will also be involved in assisting the Business Development Manager on pitches, proposals and other ad hoc tasks including online and offline events.



  • Identifying directories and publications the firm and lawyers should be featured in
  • Liaising with lawyers to find out what they have been working on
  • Drafting the submissions and entries for all guides and directories
  • Coordinating and scheduling interviews with the researchers
  • Coaching lawyers ahead of legal directory interviews
  • Providing feedback to lawyers post interviews and release of guides
  • Following up with researchers throughout the year updating them of new arrivals and developments in the teams
  • Uploading relevant articles and other information to the sites accordingly
  • Drafting lawyer profiles to feature in the directories and on the Keystone website


  • Supplying information discovered in directory research to the marketing assistant so the credentials database can be maintained.
  • Responding to requests for assistance with pitches and proposals
  • Sourcing and identifying relevant experience in the firm for pitches and proposals
  • Identifying lawyers to respond and feature in pitches/proposals/guides
  • Drafting and creating pitches, proposals and other bespoke marketing documents
  • Drafting new lawyer profiles


  • Assisting with events that the Business Development Manager and team coordinate
  • Running live webinars and seminars
  • Recording of events via OBS Studio software and the ON24 platform (full training will be given)


  • Working with the wider team to come up with new ideas and campaigns to reach clients and potential lawyers
  • Other ad hoc duties as and when required

Ideal applicants will be able to demonstrate:

  • Well-spoken and confident dealing with senior lawyers
  • High level of written English, especially spelling and grammar
  • Confident with computers and very good knowledge of Microsoft Word
  • Excellent organisational skills – must be able to multi-task and manage a range of activities in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ability to be a team player as well as work autonomously where required
  • Can do attitude and high attention to detail
  • Ability to think outside of the box and has a creative streak
  • Experience of InDesign would be advantageous but not essential
