Salary: OTE circa £100k consisting of a basic and bonus elements, dependent on PQE
An opportunity has arisen at this top 100 law firm for a first class employment lawyer to join the firm as an employed associate with the possibility over time of developing a client following and becoming a Keystone Consultant Solicitor.
This is a newly created role which will provide the successful applicant with an exciting mix of employment work and (ideally) some light employment psl duties. The successful applicant will work closely with a handful of the firm’s leading consultants on their cases and over time start to build up his or her client following, for which additional bonusses shall apply. The work to be undertaken is both contentious and non-contentious and will range from high value exits to Queen’s Bench employment related litigation.

This is a broad and varied role as follows:
Assisting with large high profile employment related litigation
Sole charge of a suitable case load
Contentious and non-contentious work
Particular exposure to the financial services, sports and media sectors
Serving as secretary to the Employment Team which includes chairing team meetings and arranging CPD
Staying at the forefront of employment law and (ideally) training others on the same
Attending social events and carrying the culture of a vibrant and exciting firm
Skills and Attributes
The successful applicant will have strong academics and be a qualified solicitor from a leading law firm (minimum 4 year PQE, more preferred). They will be able to demonstrate excellent technical skills and have a good knowledge of litigation procedure and employment law.
The successful applicant will be good with people and enjoy the social side of work. They will be a self-starter and be good at bringing in clients. They will be driven and keen to stand on their own two feet, though accepting that when working for the clients of others, they will be playing an assisting role.
